Regional donorship campaigns will be held from 1 to 30 April in the framework of the project “Train of innovations and good deeds”

The Russian Ministry for Health and Social Development and the Federal Medical-Biological Agency of Russia initiated by LG Electronics will hold in April a number of donorship events to support the Promotion Program of mass free blood and its components donation. 8 Russian cities will host the donorship campaigns in the framework of the project “Train of innovations and good deeds” the implementation of which became possible due to the partnership with the project’s organizers – Ministry of Sport, Tourism and Youth Policy of the Russian Federation, the Russian Olympic Committee, OAO “Russian Railways” public corporation and Fund to Support Sport, Tourism and Youth Initiatives “Open possibilities”.

Students of Tyumen Institute of Law, Economics and Management donated blood

The mobile blood transfusion station worked on March 15 at the building of the Tyumen State University. This is the fourth time the campaign of mobile blood donation takes place in Tyumen. The students and professors of the Law, Economics and Management Institute donated blood.

Applications are accepted for the prize “Compassion”

From February 24, 2012, applications for the prize “Compassion” are accepted from the organizations engaged in blood donation. The annual prize “Compassion” (hereinafter – the Prize) was founded by the non-profit fund “National Fund of Healthcare Development” and the Coordination Center for organization, development and promotion of voluntary blood donation of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation in 2012 to discover and adopt the best practices of implementation of blood donation projects.

You can get answers for all those questions on April 15, 2012, by attending a free consultation on the subjects: “Possibilities of blood donation development in Russia. Recruitment of blood donors”. The event will be broadcast on-line on the main page of the site of the organizer of the event - non-profit fund “National Fund of Healthcare Development” www.nfrz.ru from 10.45 to 14.00 Moscow time.

A'Studio made a video to support blood donation

The band A'Studio has acted in the video of a song "A Hope for Tomorrow". The song won the national competition “Muzarteria”, which was created to support blood donation.

Procedures for financing promotion of Blood Service approved

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has signed a decision approving the list of organizations and the procedure for providing them with subsidies and equipment for procurement, processing, storing and safety of donor blood and its components, informs Tuesday the RF Government website.

IV All-Russian Forum of Blood Service took place on 1 December 2011, where representatives of donorship social institution participating in Promotion Program summed up the program implementation in 2011. Organizers of the event were the Ministry of Health and Social Development and the Federal Medical-Biological Agency of the Russian Federation.
